Since 2011 in Malaysia, the United Overseas Bank (UOB) has conducted an annual Painting of the Year competition, one of the largest in Southeast Asia. SImilar events are held in Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia, with an overall Painting of the Year for the region also awarded. Below are the Malaysian 2023 winning artists and their works.
